About Lokafile

Lokafile is a set of free file and calculation tools built on one principle: your data should never leave your device.

Why this exists

Most free online converters work by uploading your file to their server, processing it there, and sending the result back. That means your documents, photos and text sit — however briefly — on someone else’s machine. For most files that’s a quiet privacy tax; for contracts, IDs and passwords it’s unacceptable. Modern browsers are powerful enough to do all of this work locally, so Lokafile does: every tool here runs in your browser, with no upload step at all.

What that gets you

Privacy by architecture rather than by promise — we couldn’t see your files if we wanted to. Speed, because there’s no server round-trip or queue. No caps, no CAPTCHAs, no accounts. And tools that keep working offline once the page has loaded.
